Get a set of Nascar Select Borg Warner #ch8833.
They are 8mm and 90* boots (low resistance)

MSD super conductors, HEI 90* boots, universal.

no problems here. get some of those fancy plastic clips while you're at it.

Any aftermarket set will suffice for your needs. MSD, Accell, Mallory Tailor, and Moroso all make good sets. You want 90° boots.

On the distributor would I get 90* HEI, 90* socket, or 90* male terminals? I have also heard that you can run the wires from a SB-Chevy Truck 1985-95 5.0L/5.7L is this true?

DynoDon,

do you have any actual numbers on those BorgWarner wires ? I think they're the ones I may be running in my car, those or the BorgWarner 7mm, but I have no clue how they perform compared to Accel or MSD.

Resistance ... RF ... etc

Those are the wires Dyno Don mentioned. They're 8mm instead of the 7mm that the aftermarket specifies for our cars. They're also low resistance and inexpensive, about $35 at your local parts store. All the engines Dyno Don builds here in SoCal use those wires and we havent had any problems.

The factory plug wires for a TBI fullsize van are all 90* boots and the wires are slightly longer than a TBI truck.

I have Accell wires that are cut to fit.

Oh ok, the TRUCK wires, ok.

Would explain why mine are 7mm while you guys were refering to 8mm ones. Still talking about the grey wires with black boots, correct ?
