How's the gas milage on your 350?

How's your gas milage on your stock or slightly modified 350, what about 305? Whatever motor you have, how many miles do you get per gallon?

you can see my combo in my sig. with the 2.73s i got anywhere from 10mpg (normal..romping on it once in a while) to 12mpg (being reeeeeeal nice to the gas pedal).

if i remember right, with my stock L03 i got like 15mpg.

by the way, with the new motor i use 92 octane gas.

Just for comparisons sake, my 91 C2500 gets 17mpg. It weighs 4600lbs, is shaped like a cinder block and has a 3.73 rear axle. Over 158K miles on the odometer.

I get around 13 mpg with the TBI setup. I ride on it pretty hard though...

Read my sig!
Z28 boy, how close to Rochester are you? My best friend goes to the U of R and I might be driving over to visit him. I'd like to compare our setups. You sound like you're having mad problems with the engine. I have the same engine trans and I even had slightly larger gears yet I'm getting much better milage. I think my city driving (stop light on high street is ever 200 feet no joke) is about 18 mpg. All my shifts are under 2500rpm when I'm a ***** foot it.

I'm also getting 23mpg (mostly interstate driving). 350, stock TBI with 350 injectors, Crane Compu-cam, roller tipped rockers, Vortec heads, headers, SLP muffler, no cat or a.i.r., Crane coil, March pulleys.

I was also getting 23-24 with the old 305 TBI totally stock.
