Re: Good for high 14's

With a good tune and some decent tires, I'd really hope for high 13's.

Re: Good for high 14's

It would definitely be good for low 14's. What kind of DA's do you guys get in Ontario? Toss any weight you can out of the car and get a good tire under it (any drag radial should be fine).

Re: Good for high 14's

If I had that setup with a good tune I would expect to run high 13s.
I was running 14.7s with stock TBI, heads, intake, and cam. Only upgrades were 3.73s, 1.6 rockers, underdrive pulley, full exhaust, oh yeah, and some small mods like injector and tbi spacers, tbichips.com chip, and ultimate tbi mods.

Re: Good for high 14's

Small change to plans, instead of 305 vortec heads, it will have ported 081 castings and an edelbroke tbi intake manifold

Re: Good for high 14's

I second what vjo90RS8 said about expecting low 14's or high 13's with that setup, of course with a good tune. I'll be installing my ported 081 heads with a more agressive cam than LT1 soon. I've been running about 14.7 sec 1/4 with stock heads, cam and intake, so I've very confident 13's are within reach.
