With a 700r4? Must rev like mad at high speeds.
Ive noticed almost every Mustang guy who gets gears goes with 4.10, lol. Must be a good number to pick.

Excellent to hear, what gears did you move up from?
One question though, how do you set your speedo so it shows the right speed with the new gears? Im asking because im going from 2.73 to 3.42

Congrats! Steeper gears are fun.
Went from 3,08 open to a 3,73 posi in my wife's 90RS (305/T5) autocross car. It was more fun, no doubt...But the learning curve! Suddenly, we weren't quite as competive in the corners, for awhihle. Can you say...SIDEWAYS?

Sounds like fun, but to me 4.10's might be a bit steep. I'm considering going from my 3.42's to 3.73's in my auto. To me 4th gear is still to much of a drop off. So I figure the 3.73's should help that abit.

i came from 2.73 posi gears i used to be able to get a chirp going into second out of them also as for the correct speed in the speedometer you need to get a different speedo gear from gm

Yeah i have the 700r4 and 4.10 gears in my car going 70 the rpm are up to about 3000. It made my car faster in the first three gears, and a lot of fun to drive. If you are ever planning to take the car to the drag strip you might have a tough time hooking up because of the low gear ratio, but a set of mickey thompsons will fix that then she'll really fly
