Keep what you have.

If the CFI stuff is in good shape i'd pick it up and sell it to people on here.

Re: CFI yes or no and why

CFI can work very well and support lots of power and
torque with very good reliability-just takes some mods
(especially to the intake manifold) to increase airflow
and fueling capacity in order to acheive a major HP
increase
Modified '84 vette CFI 350 in my z28,mods did the
trick-way more power than stock vette

As far as intake manifold goes has anyone ever tried the CFI system on a dual carb intake with 2 adapter plates...maybe something like this edelbrok manifold?

That's been done years and years ago, back then by a guy called PokeyL on the CFI forum. He reported it ran good w that.

Re: CFI yes or no and why

Would need custom linkage and tubing and consideration to IAC(one or two). Check out posts by simpson36. He fabbed up custom linkage. I think was dual ...2 barrel....tbi's.

In 1994 "turbo city"offered a TBI setup using a pair of
2 barrel TBIs on a 2x4 style manifold,a 7747 ECM was
used along with a small cap HEI

I had CFI for three long years, and I think you should buy and run it.

I wouldn't do it, but you definitely should.
