Check Engine Light
I recently removed all the smog equipment from the car. I get the check engine light after the car has warmed up (running for 10 + minutes). The car runs perfect, but this is new.
Is this because of the smog pump removal? Do I need a tune/chip to override this?

Re: Check Engine Light
If you don't have a code reader or aldl cable you can use a paperclip on the aldl plug to set it into a diagnostic mode. It will blink the error code # when you turn the key forward which you can reference for the actual error its throwing.

I will look elsewhere for the CEL source.
