Looking for more performance out of my 305 TBI

I have a 91 Camaro with a 305 TBI. so far I've added headders and 373 gears in the rear. I like the power it has now but I'm looking for a little more. I don't know if there is others mods I can do to really wake this motor up like a new throttle body intake cam or other things. If anyone knows what I can add and from what web sites that will be great thanks.

Yes my website is just for TBI motors, and what I meant is that that same EXACT question gets asked at least 4 times a week. Look a couple threads down at the "wanna fast TBI" thread that I wrote for even more info.....not trying to be a Dick man sorry if it came across as such.

Re: Looking for more performance out of my 305 TBI

Well im just a noob at this but in spending many hours online looking at what to do with my 305. Ive came to te conclusion that a 305 will alway be a 305 ,Unless u got major$ . Ive decided to go to a 383 ls1 and start with a bigger power base and go from there.

A quick and CHEAP way is to go to performancechipdirect.com . Upgrading your performance chip is a quick way to greaten your horsepower and also mpg. I put a Level 1 Performance Chip in my V6 3.1L and the difference was phenominal. With the 305 I'd look into the Level 1 or Level 2 depending on what else you have under your hood.

Re: Looking for more performance out of my 305 TBI

It's not the way you came across its just I don't get on this site as much as I should and as for your website that's a lot of info and thanks but what I would like to know is what's a good head cam intake combo that you would go with? And am I on the right track?

Re: Looking for more performance out of my 305 TBI

Yes it would be a good way to go, but If you would like to continue performance after putting in the head cam intake combo I would HIGHLY suggest upgrading your engine to a Chevy Crate. Especially since your already looking at $2,000 for the intake combo. But its your car and no matter what we do to our cars they're never perfect!

Re: Looking for more performance out of my 305 TBI

fuel pump is tons easier and cheaper than an engine swap. imo

This site has a lot of info on the 305. Just use the search feature and do some reading. Then you can ask more specific questions.

Did anyone mention the "stickies" above???

Most will say the best value is a 350 swap....
