LO3 ECMs
I picked up an ALDL cable and downloaded the ALDLdroid app to start logging.
My car is titled a 1989 but the line set sheet is dated 11-88. So I tried the 746 mask but didn't get much data. Swapped to the 165 mask and got lots more info. My coolant temp seems to be incorrect though. Cold start was 188 and went down as engine warmed up.
Is there any major advantage to one ECM or the other? I have a 1992 LO3/Auto ECM in a parts car if the later ECM is any better.

Re: LO3 ECMs
OK, ECM could have been swapped. Drop it down and get the BCC off the chip and the Service Number off the ECM. Then we will know what you are dealing with. Otherwise we can't see the ECM from here...
