No track times yet......

as some of you noticed i did not post any track times for my planned trip to e-town for the season opener. well that is becasue in all my screwing around trying to make everything perfect i made the car not start. the final answer after i chased every wire in teh world and tested for spark adn fuel at every cyl about 200 times.......i had the timign set wrong! DUH!!!!!! on me. i had pulled the distributer out to more easily run wires and stuff and when i reinstalled it i had it about 2 teeth off, teh result of that is that it will spin freely and never even hint that it is trying to start. and of course it is one of those parts i have moved ten-million times so i just figured i did it right instead of checking it.
the moral of the story, the stupid stuff will kill you if you take it too lightly. oh well.
the new plan is to hit teh track either friday night or saturday if the weather is good.
you will also notice that blackbird didn't hit the track either, 2 things happened to him. 1. his job scheduled him to work 2. his kidn and sharing girlfriend gave him a cold for his birthday so he didn't see the track either, he has the same plans as me for this weekend.

later

Good to hear!

It's good to hear it's nothing serious!
My car is making that famous rear-end noise we all dread. I figured it would. Maybe it's about time I get those gears and posi anyway.
It's just making a low hum now. But it is concerning me. I just need to take it easy on it until I get the funds to replace them.

You know, its a good thing that your car doesnt take as long to cover a 1/4 mile as it does for you to get it to the track, otherwise we'd be measuring the ET with a sundial!

hahaha sundials measure time in the same increments as a regular clock would.
