TBI's biggest cams.
How big can we go, with different setups, different brands of cams, and real world (not bench racing) examples.
I'm curious to see if anybody's pushed the ECM's abilities with a big cam, and complementary setup.
It probably wouldn't be a huge thread, only a few people would have the good information, but it's definetly something I haven't seen here.
I HAVE seen enough big cam BENCH RACING to fill a truck, tho. I'd like to see all that weeded out in one good thread, something that can be searched for time and time again.

This is probably way too simplistic for this thread but what the heck? The topic I would like to see is something like Why Throttle a Body? Which Body is being Throttled? and what good is it to my Camaro?

I second the big cam/TBI combo thread. Specifically roller cams. I want to hear what has been tried, and how it worked. I'm also tired of bench racers and nay-sayers passing on as fact what they heard from other bench racers. It makes me want to scream.

Just the facts from real people who have done it.

HEADS, HEADS, AND MORE HEADS!!!!
Serious...
With the lack of performance heads produced for the
305, we need to figure out what we can do using what's
available. I mean the best head whether it be
a 350 head or a ported 305 stock casting or ported Worlds.
We need flow data on GM castings and flow potential
after a good porting job. If this is the main component of adding
power for a sbc, it is no surprise about the lack of
hi-po 305s since we don't have the benefit of high quality
aftermarket heads. This is the MOST importent modification
this is where we need to put our heads together.
