Holley TBI intake???

I was wondering on how the Holley TBI intake with the 2" bores fits on our engines. Is it a direct replacement? I have the LT1 cam ready to be installed and while I had the intake off, I figured I might replace it. I have the Holley 670 on there right now anyways. Anybody ever use this or have an Idea if the price is worth the performance? Also, does anybody know the part number? I'm looking for the one with egr. Thanks

Click on the picture when you see it and get the specs.
Are you talking about that intake?
Yes it does fit and works wonders!
You will need a TBI spacer so you can fit the EGR valve.
Oh... if you have the newer heads you might need to change the angle of the center bolts, but that is easily done!

Yes the EGR works too. Read my sig.

Spacer

You may get away with regular gaskets and a 1/2" spacer. I'd go about 5/8" at least. I know that isn't much, but it's just enough to lift the TBI unit so you can fit the valve.

Thank you for the replies!
I have one more question Snowdog, will the intake and spacer clear a stock hood? I have a '90 RS, and really don't have to much room to play around with.
I was kinda thinking too, that maybe a dual plane intake w/ egr and w/ adapter plate might save a little $. I was just wondering if you had any opinion in doing it this way as opposed to buying an intake specifically for TBI.
Thanks

Well, it is a high rise dual plane manifold already, and adding the spacer will put the throttle body up another 3/4" (let's guess), you could get away with a drop base with a 2 1/2" element, or non-drop base with a 2" element. Be sure to check clearance before shutting your hood. Take the center bolt out of the TBI unit after installing and see. Youl'll have a little bit of clearance, but not too much.
My new hood gave me about 3 inches or so more clearance, so I was just fine with the new hood. I had the stock hood on mine with the drop base and without the spacer. (3" element)
I hope that helps you out.
