Remove the belt and spin each pulley.

Usually its a water pump when its growling at you. They wont always leak when the bearing goes out.

Sometimes the idlers on the tensioner goes, but its usually the WP.

Yes, the tensioner is suppost to wiggle a little while its running, this keeps the tension on the belt.

Whatever the cause is , (tensioner, water pump, idler) just replce them. There is no way to "fix" them.

Thats means its gone. Replace it ASAP, dont forget to do the belt/hoses/thermostat to if its been a while.

When they make noise, they sometimes are lose enough to tear up the inside of the timing cover.

Looks like you are WPin soon.

How much HP did the 3.3's have? I thought i read in the manual that it was 90, but that doesn't seem right, it seems like it should be like 150 or so.

my moms is like a fe3 model whatever that means. I would say about 150-160 it gets it ok off the line for a v6 but at 6k it falls flat on its face. just let me say driving that thing then going into the camaro is no comparision. I love my torque the v6 doesn't even know what torque is.
