Munky,

Check the connection at the MAF itself. The connection there is critical. You should also check the MAF power relay. Inspect the connections at both the MAF power and burnoff relay sockets. The burnoff circuit routes power to the MAF burn off terminal through the normally closed contacts of the MAF power relay.

Also check the operation of the auxilliary oil pressure switch, since that is what the ECM senses to initiate the burn off cycle. If you hear the fuel pump run for a long time after shutdown, that's a hint.

Let us know how that goes for you.

Incidentally, "Where the Hell is Neenah?"

Just because nobody did in fact answer the open circuit question

It's any of the wiring/connection relating to the connection itself...

so there's either a poor/corroded connection somewhere, a damaged wire, a short etc....

i took a test light to the 2 oranges at the burn off relay and didnt get anything from them so its off thru the wonderful world of wires and grease

at the burn off relay connector the wires are showing a good 1/2-1/4 in of fully stripped wire so that is prolly where i should start

btw, neenah is in the same pile as menasha :lala:
