Ok today i must have been in my car about 5 times, each time I started it up there is a weird sound coming from behind the clusters (so it seems) When I give it some gas it goes away. When I come to a light it starts back up. So I popped the hood this last time out and it sounds like it is coming from around my brake boster, that area. The car is running fine and all but it is just worring me. Any ides?

Do you hear a "plooossssshhhh" kind of sound when you step on the brakes?

 

don't know. I will listen for that today. Any other ideas?

 

Try lifting the brake pedal with your toe to see if the noise changes.

Ok, I lifted the pedal, didnt change it, I also listen for any sounds when I brake. Nothing. BUUUT I did notice under my hood. that those two relays that are up on the driver side, well it seems one of them is clicking, could this be?

 

Guys ya gotta help me out! Its gettin louder. I cant figure out what it is. I thought maybe the relays but it now doesnt sound like it. UGGG HElP me if not for me my baby....:hail: :hail:

 

My truck does that and its the heater core under the dash...

 

Heater core? wouldnt that be on the passenger side? This is coming from right behind the gauge cluster and by the break booster. I replaced the heater core and hoses last winter.

 

I am having this same noise. Did anyone ever figure out what it could be?
