The guys over at z28.com told me to come here for some help....so here is my problem.....look in the sig for my mods.........why am I running 8.8@81mph in the 1/8 mile? I have yet to break out of the 13's.....13.2@108mph is the cars best.

.....the times above are before adding 4.10's....alum DS, Flywheel, LCA's, and Nittos.......when I added this stuff it didn't get any faster. Granted I have not run the car in the 1/4 yet but I have ran it in the 1/8 and there was no improvment in ET or MPH. HELP! I know Traxxion has a car similar to mine....I'd like to know his secret or if any of you could help that would be GREAT!


BTW in this months issue of GMHTP they said with a carb their 396 powered F-bird made 481hp...with the FI (superram) it made 290!!!!! ..........mabe a carb is the way to go.....

What are your 60's?

Alot of your problem could be tuning issues also.

I was thinkin the same, he has DRs though.

 

....my 60's are around 2.0......what kind of tire pressure do you guys run on the Nittos? I either bog the motor or spin like crazy (grabby spec clutch)......

108mph should be good for high 12s. 13.2 isn't really bad for that mph. How are the track conditions? A lower 60' will definitely help.
