Hazards usually run off of a different flasher than the blinkers. Could be the flasher, burned out bulbs, wrong bulb size, bad wire. Turn on the blinker and see what lights on the outside of the car light up. What have you done to the car recently--if anything? In my experience, if both left and right blinkers stop working at the same time, it's usually the flasher.

it's your flasher unit, the turn signal one is seperate from the hazards one. before you buy a new one, you can verify it by swapping the two flashers to see if that fixes the problem

Try the flashers too, but I think that's what my car did when it burned out a signal light. Make sure all the lights are coming on first. Easier to just walk around the car, rather than start messing with flashers!

Of course..... It could be that you're low on fluid! Try Kaleco for some more!

check your hose if the fluid is ok, they get pinched when you turn too sharp

the flasher is right by the fuses under the steering column. it's a real PITA to get to because you have to be looking up with half your body out the front door. but once you find it it's a matter of popping out the old one and putting in the new one. i think the part costs like 2 or 3 dollars.

Just to throw something else out there: The wrong size bulb can do this. For example if you installed 1157's where 2057's should be--the 1157 bulbs don't pull as much power and can prevent a current based flasher from flashing. But if you haven't messed with the bulbs recently, that's probably not it.

I have the same problem but this is quite funny. Whenever my voltage is low(12v) they won't blink, but when it it high (14v) they blink. I'm probably going to get an alternator to fix the problem since whenever I have my heater, defroster, lights, and stereo on; my turn signals won't blink. If anyone knows a better way than for me to buy a better alternator, let em know. I just think it wierd that my car need 14 volts to blink my blinkers.

i'd try a new $3 flasher before i spent $40-60 on an alternator, and if that doesn't fix it then you'll have a spare.

$3 flasher= $3 bulb? I haven't checked the bulbs to see if they are factory, but I guess I will do it soon, to save me some money. Thanks.

by $3 flasher i mean the little silver cylinder under the dash, not the bulb. i doubt after all these years you'll still have factory bulbs.

mines doing something like that, when i try to make it blink it stays on.but i got nailed hard on the front drivers side. i replaced all the bulbs, so when my running lights are on its all good, then after a little while my right front running light goes out and the left blinker thing on the inside of the car stays on. and i checked all the lights from the outside and the left rear blinker wont work at all, even when the hazzards are on, and i replaced the bulb a few times and it still wont work. what the hell is wrong w/ it???
