l98 cam in an lb9

l98 cam in an lb9

what kind of results do u see with a l98 cam in an lb9, or are they the same? also, what kind of results do u see with a lt1 cam in an lb9? ...the lb9 would be all stock for the most part...thanks for the help

Some years, some cars, the LB9 & L98 cam is the same. If you have a peanut-cam LB9, the other cam is a significant upgrade. But, if you're changing the cam, there's better things than a L98 one; look at www.compcams.com catalog, go to the very last page of SBC cams, look at the "302" grind.

RB has it the LB9 got the L98 as it's "HOT CAM" it was part of the G92 pack only avail in a 5speed 305 combo.

Other wise I would just get a nice Compcams
Do a search and see what most people run, you should be able to find someone with your setup and a cam that runs decent on the board.
