What do you think blew in my motor?

Coming home from work today I started getting smoke coming out of the PCV holes in the valve covers as I have them vented to atmosphere. No smoke coming out the pipes. So I'm thinking I'm getting excessive blowby in a cylinder. I also am WAY down on power and it misses one cylinder every rotation.

But could it be anything else? A valve? EGR?

Sounds rather like a toasted piston. Do a compression check and listen for air escaping on the dead cylinder.

Bummer...

I vote for busted rings/ring lands.

Get a compression test and leakdown test done to help narrow things down.

i'd say either intake gasket or cracked piston.

on a supercharged engine, it can push oil out of the valve covers and cause a miss if the gasket is blown at the bottom, just as a naturally asperated engine causes a constant vacuum and miss with the intake gasket blown at the bottom.
