Need more info, what kind of fuel delivery system do you have?

TBI, does that make a difference? Im asking because I dont know alot when in comes to carbs, injectors, ect.

you do know your car isnt a carb right? lol
kinda like a restrictive but more moddern carb..
i would check the TBI itself.. take off your air cleaner and look at it see it you have any gas leaks... I had to buy a complete TBI rebuild kit cause my o-rings at the injectors were shot... I had fuel sitting at the top of my injectors..

The difference between systems matters so we can determine what could be loose. My experience is with mostly carbed cars, but I did have a fourthgen Z once upon a time and I have helped my friends work on their POS's. Here are some things to clear up first:
1. Did you have a full tank of Gas?
*Your drybreak on the fuel fill could be letting fuel escape
*You could have a clogged vent tube coming from the fuel
tank which can make a leak
2. Have you or any body else played under he hood lately, you
could have loosened something
3. If the engine was cold it could have just been an overload of
fuel through the system that didn't get burnt because your
exhaust and engine were not hot yet

Sorry man, other than checking your vent tube and fuel lines, especially the ones that go to the charcoal canister, my advice is get a fire extinguisher just in case!
