Just read my Code

ok can you tell me what this means ...?

it Flashed then stoped for a second then Flashed then flashed again back to back so it was like this.

Flash----Flash-Flash

that's code 12 which is normal when you jump the A and B terminals on the ALDL connector.

if there's an engine code set, you will see it after code 12 flashes 3 times.

i dunno much about diagnosing engine problems, but it can't be good if you ran low on oil and the engine started to knock.

yep until you remove the jumper from the ALDL terminals.

code 12 always flashes before it sends any stored codes and again after it has sent all stored codes. code 12 is really no code at all other than self test mode entering and exiting

From what we know you ran your engine with no oil in it all the way to a gas station. Then you added one quart of oil and drove it some more. You can basically kiss your engine goodbye now. Running without oil is the worst thing you could possibly do short of wrecking the car.

Checking for codes is not going to tell you if your engine is screwed up, because that's a mechanical thing that the computer wouldn't be able to report, except maybe indirectly.
