Anybody use Flow Tech Headers?

Out of JC whitney? They are under $100 and have 1.5" primaries with 2.5" secondaries. I know you get what you pay for and I'd rather get some bigger and higher quality ones, but for 100 bucks wouldn't these be worlds better than stock tpi manifolds? Any and all input welcome. Thanks.

I put them on my 305 that is in right now. They aren't too hard to install, I did 'em in my driveway at night with a 12 pack and a friend. The driver's side goes in easy enough, but the passenger side takes a little more time. I just ripped out my smog crap, so it only took a couple hours. The stock y-pipe can be made to work if you can weld. I got mine at a parts store for $79, so check around your area, they may be cheaper than Whitney. For the price they do the job. They are definitely a lot better than the stock manifolds. They already have a bung welded in for the 02 also. I can't think of a better mod for under $100.

Thanks a lot man. I'm on my way to pick up some gear oil now and I think I'll see what Auto Zone has.

Damn, not to shabby. Get some header wrap, and you will be good to go!

yeah , I have those headers on my LG4, my previous best time as 16.8 , with the headers, cat-back & custom ram air I did 16.095. (still sucks, but .7 is pretty good).

PS: I know the car could have easily hit 15's , but it was just a bad day , I couldn't get anything right (shifting, traction and weather sucked too )

You have to check. Don't quote me, but I believe you could get them with the AIR fittings for an extra $30-$40.

Well these are 99 bucks and only have an O2 fitting. You can get them with air tubes for more money like he said. I'm just going to get some wrap and stage 8 bolts and see what those bad boys can do.

Does anyone know if the headers with the AIR holes are the same as the truck shorty headers also offered by Flowtech?
