Fuel line fitting size on stock fuel pump..

Anyone know exactly what size fitting goes into a stock carbuerated fuel pump??

I want to get a fittng that will screw into the fuel pump outlet and adapt to a -6 an steel braided hose. I know it looks bigger than 1/4 inch. I'm just guessing that it's 3/8 NPT - is that right??

- Thanks in advance for any assist!!

The outlet should be a 3/8" inverted flare.

Thanks for the help!

BUT : If it's 3/8th's then the part number you posted must be wrong Apeiron. Here's what Jeg's has it listed as:

023-FCM2108 Inverted Flare 5/8''-18 thread; -06 Hose Fitting

So just for further clarification, it is 3/8th's right??

It's definitely 3/8".

Seems like what I usually end up having to do, is to use a ¼" pipe junction as a transition.

This is for the mechanical pump, right? 3/8" inverted flare fittings have 5/8" - 18 threads.

I went out and took another rough measurement, and you're right - it appears to be 5/8th's. Looks like the tubing size itself might be the 3/8th's part of the equation. I'll try the part you suggested.

Thanks again!

EDIT: And yeah, it's the stock mechanical I'm referring to.
