SES light but no codes???
My car runs for 1-2 seconds and shuts off... I get the service engine soon light so I checked the codes, all I get is the code 12 over and over again. Nothing else. Any thoughts???

After the car shuts off the Service Engine Soon will come on because there is power going to the circuit with the key turned. It is just like when you first turn the key to the "ON" position the light will come on as part of a bulb test. There was no code thrown. Have you checked the fuel pressure?

Red devil, what are you basing that on? Or is it just a precaution thing? The relays were both replaced fairly recently actually...

hi guys this is (gen3z)i have to use a different screenname at work for some reason, now to the answer to your question if your car is not running long enough for the ecm to store a code it will do this it has to run for at least 30 seconds to do its code storage so make it run for at least that long to try to repair your car...

First thing i would do is buy a noid light, make sure all your injectors are firing. Noid lights are only about $6.00 at the auto zone.

Disconnect all the injectors and test each one by plugging the noid light into the connector and having someone crank the engine and observe the light. If the light pulses or flashs, then you have a good circuit to that connector. If you get one, make sure it is the one for GM TPI systems as there are several different models of the noid light on the store shelfs these days.
