When was the last time you checked/adjusted/cleaned the IAC and TPS? (There's a tech article on it.)

Im not sure but I think the car ides very high (right on the number 1). and also the TPS is the self adjustable type so there is no way to adjust it(it has a plug).
I cleaned the IAC but I havent adjusted it.

is this the posible source of the problem?

I had a similar problem and I was told to check that...

The TPS should be able to be adjusted, you unscrew it and rotate it up and down a bit.

The symptoms for my car included: Searching for idle, high idle, reving up really high when starting then dying several times, dying when coming to a stop randomly.. few other weird ones. Haven't really had any of those problems since.

Does TBI's have IAC's? Sounds like an IAC that has carbon build up. If it does have one just pull it out clean with carb cleaner and the passageways. Try to get rid of all that carbon then put a drop of oil on the worm gear and reinstall.

Yes, TBI's have IAC's. It's the cylindrical thing located behind the TPS on the passenger side.
