Removing Smog
Ok guys, first, ever since my header swap i have not been emissions legal in any way, no air lines are hooked up and i dont have a cat. So, therefor, i want to completely remove emissions.
What process is required to remove Smog?
Is there computer programming required?
Is it just the process of just removing all smog lines?
I want my engine bay to clean up and then i'm prolly gonna convert my current headers to non-legal headers, and then get some headman's or something.
I'm gonna get an engine dressup kit once done, get new valve covers, and all that cool stuff. I want this to pretty up.

The smog and cat can be removed with no problems on the computers side. Dont touch the egr, though. You need that.

EDIT: If you mean the info out there does not apply to your situation then you are wrong. Everyone has to remove smog the same way whether it be for TBI, TPI, carb ect.

1) Removing smog equipment is illegal in all 50 states for vehicles operated on public streets, road, highways and by-ways.
2) With TPI, what a lot of people think is "smog" equipment is "control" equipment. Sounds like you've already removed too much.
3) There is all too much information available about what to do for "off-road-use-only" removal of what "smog" equipment you can remove without affecting control with a simple search or two.
Say Goodnight, Gracie.
