manifold gaskets

Almost ready to set the wife's 350 TBI Capri motor in her 92 RS, dry fitting intake, headers, water pump, ect... I noticed the GM intake gaskets I believe the part #12525810 the rear water passages are blocked by a metal plate with one small hole in each side, Is this the proper gasket or do I need to modify it? The last manifold I set was 20 years ago and there was rear seals for that intake. Not real sure on the front and rear sealing process, I believe it is to run a 1/4" bead front & rear let it skin over then set manifold and bolt down. Any help would be appreciated, this is a great site, I found TBI chips.com here, and have one coming as I type. Thanks Dave

They are the correct gaskes, the block off are to the back. Use a high quality sealer on block to intake seals, a good 1/4 bead and set the intake on before it skins up. If there is a isuzu dealer aroung you get there sealer pn# 2-90067-801-0 or GM# 97720043. That is the best sealer I have ever used, will seal ANYTHING!
