RPO codes location in a Trans Am

Are they in the trunk? I need to find out the RPO for the gear ratio in the 9 bolt.

The nine bolt has the gear size on the axle case from what I understand.

Something you might want to try. I found a Factory delevery sheet "RPO" With all of the information about my bird stuffed under the passenger seat between the springs and foam. Of course its a 19 year old document and crumblemd when I took it out
You might want to give it a try, couldent hurt to look.

The rear is from a wrecked '88 5.7L GTA, hard top, too old to check? I can get you the vin number sometime this evening.

The RPO codes for the car will tell me nothing about the non-stock rear. You will have to find the three digit code on the axle tube.
