valve cover gasket

im not sure wich one is better rubber, or cork valve cover gasket. wich one do think is better

ive always used the cork and indian head gasket shallac (spelling?)

Go with cork. I always seal them to the valve cover, and not the head. This way they are easy to clean up when you have to take off a valve cover.

I'm likely to go with Felpros particular to my 350 Tuned Port, using the black RTV I have with my manifold set, bent too much in shipping. I also bought the high temp copper RTV, but I gather I don't need that

The FelPro blue seem to work well on the centerbolt covers. Stretch a little bit to hold in place too. Not cheap but about any gasket these days is way overpriced I think.
