heeelp engine troubles

okay lets start off om not or do i pretend to be a mechanic ..yet
i just like to learn and try.
i have a 91 rs 3.1L and when im cruising its fine i slow to city speed its fine. but when im slowing to stop about at 20kilometers an hour (sorry canadian dont know mph) it lopes it drops from 1000 rpm to about 500 rpm than back up to 1000 rpm and sometimes it stalls what the f@#k is wrong im totally stumped please ohhh great ones of the thirdgens.

could be a number of things. done a tuneup lately?
spark plugs/wires/cap/rotor
pcv valve
my dad's jimmy was doing the same thing and it was the plugs.
it could be a number of things but thats a good starting point. fairly cheap and should be done anyways if it hasn't been done in a while

i replace the cap, rotor and wires but not the plugs and the car sat for 1 1/2 years so im not used to it i have been driving a hhhhhhhonda eeek a sewing machine on wheels thanks ill replace my plugs.

When my car did that it was the fuel injectors. Try sparkplugs first tho.

i would doubt the injectors if you drive fine and accelerate fine.
if its not the plugs try the pcv valve and also look for a vaccum leak somewhere. cracked hose or something unplugged

no i had about 1/8 of a tank i i filled it when i started driving it again
