edle performer intake
more mid to high end power
One of these things is not like the other. One of these things, doesn't belong.
I'd suggest a XS274S..... 236°/242°, .501"/.510" ..... and some other intake, such as a Perf RPM.

What will happen, is if you put a cam in there that sets the motor up for top end, is you will get a motor that's a pig down low because of the cam; and a pig up high because of the intake.
They need to match.
Expect any cam you put in, to make the car slower; until you get an intake that's actually significantly better than a stock one. That would include the one I mentioned. You will hate it.

well at this exact moment in time i just need to get it together and this is what is holding me up. the intake will have to do for now. i will be getting a edle rpm air gap intake which will mostly liely be exactly were i want my cam. in that exact power band range and intakes arn't hard to change so i do what i can with what i have

I wouldn't use that, if it was my motor; not with any cam, not if I got it for free. But that's just me.
Seems like those things are always available "for a real good price" these days.... everybody that has them, is getting rid of them. There's actually a good reason for that. Which is, just about anything else, runs better. Although, it might be somewhat of a step up from a Performer, as far as opening up the intake tract and letting the motor breathe a bit.
