Check for serious vacuum leaks, especially around the base of the intake near the runners.

get sum 1/4 in. rubber hose and listen for a hissing noise at the edges of the manifold

better off to buy some carb cleaner like (2+2) and spray around the manifold (engine running). if the idle picks up, you found the leak.

That carb cleaner method never worked for me.... Maybe propane will work... (use a little bottle of propane, unlit, and "hose down" areas, if idle changes, that's a leaky area...)
How'd you seal the gasket? with RTV? torque down right?
Is your idle higher then normal now?

yeah, dont overlook that.
I prefer the hose-in-the-ear method. Also works good for exhaust leaks, and telling if you're running rich, but you have to stick it in your nose for that...

I used fle pro gasket and rtv, I let the car sit for a good day and a half for the rtv to dried. I tried the carb cleaner idea. It didn't work. I was listern to the engine, I think it is coming from the back of the intake. I think it is the distributor gasket, that is the problem. Im going to rtv that up.
