I saw a show on Speedvision about this car.
First production car to break 300 mph at Bonneville. Done in a 92 Firebird.

Twin Turbo 1100 HP small block. Now that's what I'm talking about. That car is a sled. They put over 2000 lbs of balast in the car so it wouldn't fly. I love the way the doors still open and close and the power windows still work on a racecar. That's just too funny.
you know...on this topic....the guy a bought my block and crank from his names kim baker.
(yeah his parents were mean!)
anyway he had a vette he used it for road racing and also for land speed. he went 300+ (i saw the trophies) so whats the deal hear? and his car looked absolutely stock. (cept the whole front end was carbon fiber, and he had a 540 bb in it.

I read the article on the car. They think they would go faster if they had a faster push truck. At the time they had a stock Dodge Ram. They were still accelerating at the end of the run.
