Make it easy on yourself... go with a carb.

If you want to keep your TBI it is a little tougher because 350s did not come stock in Camaros with TBI - they had TPI which is a whole different fuel injection system.

Either way, it CAN be done. I have a 92 RS that used to be a 305 TBI as well. Now it is a carbed 350.

In CA you have two ways to go. Put a 350 in and disguise it as a LO3 and the smog guy won't know the difference or swap a92 or newer 350 from a passenger car complete with emmissions and computor and take it to a referee to get it approved.

what is a Lo3, and im buying a crate motor long block and edelbrock sells a tbi intake for that motor, I figuered I would have to just up the chip. I was asking if I went with a 600 carb would I have to change the wiring? thanks for your input

little changes to the fuel lines.Fuel regulator or a mechanical pump, and carb brackets for ur kickdown cable and throttle.I know thers a thread somwhere on tgo that tells bout this.I dunno but I wanna go carb to bypass all the computer crap.A lo3 is a 305 engine with the 700r4 automatic tranny"good lttle car."

Any parts that you get will have to be CARB certified, otherwise the smog ***** will get you.

Your best bet is to just take your 350 and put the TBI system back on it. I believe you'll need a new ESC and knock sensor. Possibly a larger injector. You'll need to search in the TBI forum for complete swap info.

As for the headers, check out the stickies at the top of the page on the exhaust forum.

You'll need to have computer work done to your car for any mods that you do, since it's a TBI. And I dont believe you can legally "upgrade" to a carb in California. Even if it has a CARB number.
