Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
A few people paid me to build their motors with them, back when they came out.

They mostly perform as advertised. Their action depends on the cam you put them on. The more aggressive the cam, the less effect they have. Something like a 151, they have a MASSIVE effect.

Some of those people also paid me to put regular lifters in their motors later. Some of the others did it themselves.

So, be careful what you ask for, you might get it. Alot of people didn't like the down side (noise, temperature sensitivity, sensitivity to oil presssure, inconsistency) that they got, along with the "benefit" of making their cam act "smaller" at very low RPMs.

Thank you. I just wanted feedback. I have yet to try my new vacuum canister but Im sure that will resolve my issue.

The other consideration is that Rhodes lifters were never made in a roller configuration, AFAIK.

Their website lists them as available. Not sure when that came around, though.

Well, I'll be durned. They finally got around to making leaky roller lifters - Even the retrofit rollers.

And I thought that decent roller profiles pretty much eliminated the need for leaky lifters.
