k, in addition to all the problems i've had, and fixed, this morning, driving to work at 6 am (ish) i hear a clunk and my gauges stop working (except for the odometerand speedometer), then stoped on a hill , for a few seconds my brakes wont work, and i rolled up to the red light and started rolling down, so i put it in first and hold it in place till the green light,
the rest of the way , it was fine 9exept for the gauges) after work i came to my car and figured to take a look at the fuse panel, and well, the fuse named gauges is blown so i reach to my wallet (remmembering i put a fuse there about a week ago) and replaced the broken fuse, turn the key and the fuse bows again, (gauses dont work, and there is no check engine light with the key in on, engine not running (i think it should be on).
anyone have any idea to what might have happened ???

I don't think that the service engine lite is on the same circuit as the gauges, but theres a chance. You have a short somewhere, probably from excessive moisture causing corrosion. I'd pull the panel off and then take the instrument cluster out and clean up any rust you find.
What happened with the brakes? Did the pedal just go soft and then it pumped back up? If I were you, I'd probably get the brake thing straightened out first...

i actually dont know what happened with the brakes i was climbing the hill, when i saw a red light i just downshifted untill it almost stoped then used tried to use the brakes to brake and stay in one place till the light'll turn green, now, because of the hill the car coasted t oa stop (like 30 cm , and started sliding down, at which time i shifted to 1st and held it in place for about 5 seconds till the light turned green, my brakes were fine for the rest of the way there and back home , and another thing i noticed and forgot to post is that when i switch on the headlights theres a long beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep untill i switch them off , the same sound it makes to remind u to turn off the lights when u switch of f the engine
do u have an aftermarket cd player or tape player? if so disconnect it and replace the fuse for the gauges, u can just take out the radio fuse if its wired right, even if its stock radio try pulling the radio fuse anyway just to check
yes, its an aftermarket one but it's been installed for over 3 month allready couldent suddenly go bad . could it ?
and another symptom i noticed is that when i turn my headlights on,(while engine running , driving) the car makes a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep untill i turn them off

first off, when you put your new stereo in, did you use the clip on the stock wiring harness or did you wire it directly to the stereo. becase if you did you might have used the wroong ground wire because i had the same problem until i changed to the other ground wire. there are 2, one you use and the other blows the fuse for the gauges. if you are still using the factory clip, check and make sure the wires for the stereo are not touching the metal brakets around your stereo or you will have the problem you have.

I have to agree with the radio thing. My cousin hooked up his wrong and when ever he flipped the lights on, the fuse blew. Take the radio out, put in a new fuse and see what happens.
