i have a bigger cam in my 305 and i'm going to have to say that it will have a slight lope but nothing like a 550+ lift cam would have or larger. I'm sure it's 292 advertised duration but no where near that at .050 where most cams are rated.

the way a cam sounds is the last thing you should be worried about... pick something that suits your engine not your eardrums.

That cam will have plenty of a choppy idle in a 350. Trust me. The lift has nothing to do with the sound. However, picking a cam based on sound really isnt a sound idea.

is it EFI? Carb? What? You're someone may or may not be correct.

And I'm with the rest of the people who say go for overall performance of the engine, not the sound output.
