I need a new cam for my TPI- What is a good lopey low torque, daily drivable cam....

Ok- I need a new cam- mine is junk lol!.. I am wanting to go with something that would be the equivalent of a "hot cam" and still give me low end torque and great power over what i had, as well as maintain daily driveability.. I was looking at a lunati hyd. flat tappet cam( b/c i already bought lunati hyd. flat tappet lifters)

The lunati specs are as follows:Brand: Lunati
Product Line: Lunati Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshafts
Cam Style: Hydraulic flat tappet
Basic Operating RPM Range: 2,000-5,500 RPM
Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift: 224
Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift: 224
Duration at 050 inch Lift: 224 int./224 exh.
Advertised Intake Duration: 290
Advertised Exhaust Duration: 290
Advertised Duration: 290 int./290 exh.
Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.460 in.
Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.460 in.
Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.460 int./0.460 exh. lift
Lobe Separation (degrees): 112
Intake Valve Lash: 0.000 in.
Exhaust Valve Lash: 0.000 in.

Would this be a good cam to go with, or does anyone have any other reccomendations?

I was also looking at this cam
Brand: Crane Cams

I think those cams require a roller setup. Not sure if "lopey" and low end torque belong in the same sentence.

"TPI", "good", "lopey", "low torque" (assume you mean "low RPM torque"), and "daily drivable" cam don't belong in the same sentence together.

Can we assume it is a non-roller lifter block? If so, forget the cc cams mentioned.

I was refering to the CC305 and CC306 cams mentioned as being roller cams. Sorry for not being clearer. No offence taken.

I think that xfi cam you mentioned would be a good one. That's a lot of lift for little duration, 'specially for a FI type of cam, hmm, must have WILD ramp rates. I'll have to look into that more.
