Re: Help speedo wont work
what exactly do you mean it wont work?
does it move at all, or does it make an attempt to move?
it could be a loose speedometer cable, or maybe a short somewhere in the cluster, the transmission might have a problem....theres many things, I(we) just need a little more info

Re: Help speedo wont work
I hate to break this to you, but if you have a th350 it's cable driven. If the 700r4 had a vehicle speed sensor before and that was just plugged into the th350 then you've already found your problem. You need a speedometer that is cable driven, a speedometer cable, and the correct speedometer gear and housing that originally came with the th350.

Option #2
Buy a GPS and mount it on the dash panel above the radio/console bezel. At least you could get your MPH and miles driven. I had the speedo go out in a Honda beater I bought for commuting back and forth to work (not much to look at but 32 mpg is great) and used a small GPS until I got it fixed.

Re: Help speedo wont work
I bought one 6-7 yrs. ago for when I take my jet-ski out onto a big lake down in SC. It has a odometer, tripometer and speed in several different style displays. Only draw back is it takes it a minute or so to locate the satellites.

Who cares about the drawback. That's just cool.
