Been noticing this more and more. While driving my underdash vents are blowing warm air. In the GA heat, this isn't good. Thought it might be the blower motor running continuously, but when I stop, the airflow stops. Any suggestions?

I get this as well but I live in Ohio so its ok for me.....I think its just poor insulation and you are feeling heat from the engine.........

I've noticed this problem too, and I think its due to the idiots that design at gm. I have gone to the extreme of taping off vents and now even have the heater core bypassed, and even now I still get the hot air. I am thinking its coming through that foam filter on the heating/ac air box from the engine compartment. I have been considering ripping out the A/C core and sealing up that opening. That is the only place I can think of that the air could get in unless its coming through the outside ventilation ducting and the doors are not closing it. I've been considering tearing everything apart to find the cause and fix it or make modifications.
I know how you feel, its really miserable when its hot out and it feels like 180 degree air blowing on your leg/feet. my wife thought I was making it up cause it doesnt seem to come out her side much, but then I made her hold her hand down my side and now she doesnt think I am crazy anymore.

This has happened to me as well, at least once anyway. I was driving back home one day and my feet kept getting hotter, I thought my shoes were melting or on fire.
Freaked me out, but I haven't really noticed it since so it doesn't bother me.

There is a Vacume operated switch (bisket) that opens and closes a flapper.
Some times the flapper sticks (dirt) in the wrong position open or closed.
Usually you can push or pull it just enough to move it, then vacume takes over and it should open or close.
Also if it sticks the wrong way in the winter you can't get any heat.
One way it sucks air from the heater core (your case) and the other way sucks from the winshield area. Hope this helps...

i think what your seeing is the flow through ventilation.
i don't remember for certain, but the camaros & birds take in outside air either from around the right side windshield wiper area or from around the right side cowl where the fender bolts to the body.
these may help you to figure a way around it.
read the Heat/Defrost Door part in ac3.
you may need to download them to your pc & then open them with windows picture & fax viewer so
you can zoom in to read them.

You may find that your evaporator housing is broken on the underneath, where it's closest to the exhaust.
