Spark plug question
I wanna change the plugs in my trans am and I will be putting AC Delco's in it, but my problem is what am I looking for...my set up is, 64-67 327 heads (camel hump) and late 70's 350 block, with a mild build ie .30 over and a mild cam. stock ignition and a 650 holly double pumper. So I can't exactly go down to the parts store and look up what I need, also what kind of gap and heat range should I look for?? any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Spark plug question
Pick a stock application that would have come with those heads, and tell them that's what you've got.

Re: Spark plug question
The gap you're going to set yourself anyway, and stock heat range is fine for most applications.

Re: Spark plug question
Drive the car around like you stole it for a few blocks, pull over and check the heat line. That'll tell you about the heat range. Chances are it's fine. Open the gap until it misfires under worst case conditions, then close it a bit. Or just use .045" and be done with it
