5.56, no machining required. For 5.7 or 6.0, ask your machine shop.

5.7 is more common (ie. cheaper). 6 gives you more room to more easily internally balance the crank if you like. The block doesn't need a whole lot of machining, at least nothing precise. Everything can be done by hand with a die grinder.

That's exactly it, install the crank, cam and timing set. Then put one piston in at a time, rotating the crank through 2 full rotations checking for clearance at the pan rails, bottoms of the cylinder bores and cam lobes. Disassemble, clearance as necessary. Lather, rinse, repeat.

You don't want to remove anything from the cam lobes. If you've got contact there, you can maybe clearance the rod bolts (not a preferred solution). If you use cap screw rods, you can safely remove some material from the rod, or the rods may already be clearanced for stroker use. If you still need more room, you can use a cam ground on a smaller base circle.

of course you dont want to remove from the cam!! most likely the rods will be pre clearanced being that its a rotating assembly stroker kit

Yes, chances are, but you'll still need to check.
