Pushrod recommendation...

Can anyone recommend a decent set of pushrods for use with a factory roller cam setup? I'm unsure what length or diameter the factory used..

thanks for the worthless reply, I did search and couldn't find the answer I'm looking for which is why I made this post, I figured someone on here would know the length of a factory roller pushrod off the top of their head. I think that it may be 7.200 but I would like a comfirmation from someone who actually knows for sure before I order parts..

Re: Pushrod recommendation...

If you did search and cant find it, then please post that you searched. People will be more likely to help.

Roller cam engines came with 7.200" long, 5/16" diameter, .080" wall thickness pushrods. Stock replacement mild steel Manley pushrods would be part number 25717-16. High performance hardened chrome-moly Manley pushrods for use with guideplates would be 25733-16.

Re: Pushrod recommendation...

im 99.5 percent sure they are 7.200 if everything is pretty much stock in the valvetrain. i even think if you have a summit or jegs catalog it lists the lenghths of the pushrods for an 87 up oe roller setup

Thanks! I'm not sure which I should go with, I'm running an lt1 roller cam with factory roller lifters from the lt1 with world products sr torquers that came with guideplates and roller rockers installed. Would I need the chrome-moly ones or will factory replacements do?

Re: Pushrod recommendation...

Get a $12 pushrod length checker, and a sharpie, and double check the length needed. You'll use the tool again later.
Then yea, get the chro-moly ones.

Re: Pushrod recommendation...

You can use either part number I listed with guide plates, they're both hardened.

What did you do, come back and search for a "search!" post just to say you never come back when you apparently do?
