Going all together today. Do you think I'll be impressed with the performance?

Depends upon what it takes to impress you, but I think I'd be impressed.
The only mismatch I see is the intake - you're giving up 700 RPMs of cam powerband.

Re: Finishing My Engine Today
I think you'd be much happier with an Edelbrock RPM or Weiand Stealth intake over the basic Performer. The RPM/Stealth will match that cam much better.
I recommend the Stealth over the RPM just because of the carb you have - the RPM has the brake vacuum fitting right under the secondary accelerator pump, and it sits so close to the carb that its basically useless unless you use a carb spacer.
The Stealth does not have thise problem, and the performance is about the same as the RPM.

Re: Finishing My Engine Today
The Stealth manifold avoids alot of the problems of using a dual feed Holley/Demon carb that the RPM has. The performance is the same between the two, you won't notice any difference there. I've used the RPM Air Gap and the regular Stealth - the Stealth is a much better choice with the carb you are using IMO.

Awesome, thanks guys. One question... will it even come close to the performance of like an lt1? According to digital dyno it's over 400hp... but who knows. If it's not good enough... blower? I want to stick myself in the seat and not get out of it.

You should be in the 350-400 REAL hp range, so you shouldn't have any problem with stock or mild modded LT1 cars.
Re: Finishing My Engine Today
Any ideas on what distributer would be the best for my setup? I've got a couple different ones but I have no idea. I'm thinking a mechanical advance one like used in a race car but I may be wrong.

With a non-computer carb, you need a non-computer distributor.
Typical is a mechanical/vacuum advance type, many new HEI large cap types available, if you're using an ignition box, you can get a distributor that plugs right into it. I've got MSD parts on the 396, works great. When the MSD box got wet last season (away from home), I ran down to O'Reilly's and picked up an Accel HEI distributor and Super Coil, it ran fine with it (I just didn't have my 2-step rev limiter).

Well if your going to be driving on the street id use one with a vac advance. The inexpensive accel that 5-7 mentioned is a realy good replacment peice I use them all the time. I like the weiand intakes my vote goes for the steath I just got a real good deal on the RPM siting under my hood.
