wild cam...
Are they a flat out race cam or will they perform on the street as well?

I'm guessing this was supposed to be a reply to another thread, and not a "start a new thread" post?

No I was asking a question. I'm new to the whole car thing. The most I know about the cam is tht it's a "wild" cam. Not sure of what that mweans other than I'm pretty sure it was meant to be a race cam.

I don't know, that's kinda the reason I'm asking. It's supposed to go in a 383 stroker if that helps any?

Re: wild cam...
You match the cam specs to the engine package and desired performance. There really isn't a rule that says "x" cam is meant for "x" purpose. Generally speaking, though, larger durations are typically meant for more of the racing/high end application (240°+ @ .050" intake duration).
Hot street applications, like 383's or 400's can typically handle a larger cam, in the 232ish @ .050" and still be streetable. Again, though, that's more or less general application.
