Re: cam question

Those cams aren't even in the same ballpark. Okay, well, maybe same ballpark, but a huge step up. Chances are your current engine if it has that cam wasn't build to support the airflow or the RPM required to make use of the larger cam. Not to mention the whole rest of the car.

Maybe you could share everything that's been done to the car that isn't stock as well as the complete specs of the current engine?

I would say stick with your current camshaft or upgrade to a hydraulic roller with similar specs, unless you're ready to change several things on the engine & car to match the larger camshaft.

Upgrading to a hydraulic roller with similar duration but higher lift numbers would likely increase your power across the board without having to upgrade you heads, intake, and gearing. You may only need valvesprings, retainers, lifters, and pushrods for the upgrade.

This will work well with what you have, but it's always better to get a custom tune after a cam swap. You will also need to upgrade the valvesprings and retainers to prevent mechanical interference problems with the added valve lift. The swap can be done without pulling the heads.

Re: cam question

Something like AFR / Trick Flow...probably looking around $1200 - $1500 for the pair.
