Automatic or Manual?
I am having a similar problem in my 84 T/A that just got a new motor. My problem only happens when it's cold though.

its an automatic it origanally had a 305 in it and a switched it to a 350 and just finally had the money to replace the intake and fuel injectors i think it might be a bad brake booster when i first started it after the swap it ran fine and i relized the hose wasnt hooked up and then thats when it started need to get timing back set right and battery stay charged long enough to check for shure but any other suggestions would be great

That is a large vacuum leak. the motor probably would not idle much less run very well if at all. If it ran "fine" until you connected the booster hose then started having your issues I would suspect a fuel issue. If it can run fine with that large a vacuum leak it is more than likely getting an ungodly amount of fuel. You may want to rethink your choice or question the quality of injectors since the intake and injectors wwere the only things you changed. I would also check the FPR for a leaking diaphram allowing fuel to get sucked into the intake. Simply look at the vacuum hose (FPR) and see if there is fuel in it. Thread
