It's a 355 that's making decent power and has a Holly 1850 carb, Holly blue fuel pump...........well here's everything:

As I come to a stoplight (it's got a 700 trans) the engine bogs down HEAVILY and then dies. It fires right back up and runs great as long as I don't stop. Kinda like "It only hurts when I'm not sleeping." And thought's please? I can take pics of anything too. Thanks guys.

 

Will it idle if you put it in drive from park?

Torque converter not unlocking, maybe?

 

It only does it after the engine warms up. I don't think it does it as bad I go from park to drive, but I'll see. What are the possible causes?

 

What's your idle RPM set at? Could just be set too low.

 

I haven't changed anything about the idle. The engine just started doing this.

 

maybe the back float is high and is constantly dumping fuel so the engine floods coming to a stop and its not so bad driving.

 

 

While driving. Not great, but what the hell.
