I'm killing plugs please help
I have an 82 camaro it has a small block 427 with a wieand 142 supercharger I cant find a plug that works between 0 pounds of boost and 3 pounds (above atmospheric pressure) I keep fouling them out. Im going to rebuild the carb just to make sure Im getting the right fuel mixture since it has sat for 2 years. I also have to adjust the mechanical lifters but Im just trying to see if anyone has any plug ideas currently using R45TS. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

If you're fouling that hot of a plug, try more spark advance. You may need more octane.

You must be using race gas, alcohol, or you're mixing in a lot of Xylene or Toluene.
The fuel that works at WOT under boost will not also work well when your cylinder pressure is very low.
Low compression and poor quench aggravate this problem.
At idle and cruise you need to try to lean your AFR to at least 15.5:1 or higher with as much spark advance as you can use without knock.
If this is happening with regular pump gas, then it's likely that your spark advance is too low for efficient combustion.
A dual fuel system - one for non boosted driving, is one solution.
Also keep your plug gaps tight at around 0.030".

Thank you both. I'm currently using 93 octane. The motor is 10.5:1 before the supercharger is added I'm not sure on the math but I think it changes to about 12.58:1. I will diffidently try the spark advance.

I was thinking pump gas, I didn't even consider any alcohol-based fuel.

Re: I'm killing plugs please help
fouled plugs is caused by too much fuel, but since you said you'd be doing the carb, I didn't see any need to suggest that. If it fouls after you get the carb right, then play with timing.
