Re: Starter Trouble

Well, what is happening when you turn the key and it won't start. What noises is it making? Is it a single click? If it is , then try and turn your key into the off position , then try and start it and you should get a click, then try that over and over again. It should eventually start. If you are getting a single click everytime you try and start it then I am willing to bet that it is a bad wire from the starter to the NSS.

sounds like i had the same issue with my 89 trans am. it's like your battery isn't even hooked up right? and just randomly it'll start just fine?

i took my battery out and brought it down to autozone where it was purchased to exchange for a new one, because at one point it was completely dead. they said it was fine, put it on a charge for an hour and cleaned the posts, since then, i had no problems with starting.
