Does anybody knows what is the correct calibration for the platinum spark plugs, by autolite, on a tbi 305, please i need help `cause I`m new, thanks.

 

.35 they usually come calibrated already

 

It doesn`t matter if the spark plugs are of platinum, thanks for the advice, I need my car ready for next sunday, for 1/4 mile

 

if want them according to specifications it dsnt matter what brand gap is the same

 

Spark plugs are not "pre-gapped". They make plugs fit many different vehicles. But the plug gapper for a buck and follow the emission sticker recommendation under the hood. The original AC Delco plugs should be a CR45TS, with the C being a copper core. Platinum, split fire, and all that other stuff is a waste of money in a stock engine. Maybe if you were looking to drop a tenth of a second in the quarter mile..............

 

Also, the gaps get changed when they have impact in shipping. I have sold a lot of plugs working at a parts store. Trust me - gap 'em.

Just talkin for my xperience with spark plugs when i get them from my supplier not pepboys or autozone they always have come pre gap... i do agree about the gapper, i always check them to make sure.
